About Our Orchard
Collins Family Orchards is a fourth generation family farm growing a variety of tree fruits in Selah, WA and servicing the greater Seattle area. We grow organically, though we are not certified by an outside organization. We have an all-fruit CSA, Online Store, attend many Seattle area Farmers Markets, and supply local business with delicious fruit!
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for two dependable and outgoing delivery drivers to make CSA deliveries around the Seattle area. A typical delivery shift is 6-9 hours, working Monday-Thursday. We prefer employees who can commit to the summer and fall season (June – December).
Applicants must have experience driving a utility/cargo van and/or box truck, along with a clean driving record, and a smart phone to utilize Road Warrior, the routing app used for deliveries. Extra bonus points if you know your way around Seattle and have experience driving for Amazon, Ridwell, and other local delivery services utilizing large vans.
Any employment offer is contingent upon a satisfactory driving record background check. If offered a position, the applicant will be required to obtain and provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) from the Department of Licensing at their own expense ($16). If approved, we will reimburse you for the cost of the MVR report.
A two-week trial period will also be required to ensure you are comfortable operating our vans and navigating city routes.
Position Overview
Delivery driving for Collins Family Orchards is fun and autonomous. Attention to detail is KEY! This is a great way to see the city and deliver farm fresh produce to your community! A typical day will have anywhere from 40-60 stops, a mix of home deliveries and pickup sites. You will become besties with everyones you deliver to.
CSA Deliveries:
Monday - Thursday, 7 AM start time
Pay:
$23/hour + occasional employee shindigs + free fruit, veggies, cheese, mushrooms and more!

This position is based out of our warehouse in Georgetown: 1622 S. Graham St. Seattle WA 98108
Job duties include
Loading and driving a utility van
Driving around Seattle with a packed van of
precious fruit!Ensuring quality and accuracy upon delivery
Navigating using our delivery app on your
smartphone (smart phone and experience using mobile navigation apps strongly
preferred, but not required)Completing routes in a timely manner
Communicating with the delivery team as needed
Cleaning the van after your route
Qualifications
Please note: This position is located in Seattle. As a delivery driver, you will start your shift at our warehouse located in Georgetown. You must have reliable transportation to this area. There is a bus line that reaches the neighborhood if you do not have a car or bike.
This position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
