What is a CSA?

CSA stands for community supported agriculture.

When you sign-up for our CSA, you support our farm by paying upfront (or in three-installments) for our fruit–and we deliver a weekly box of farm fresh fruit throughout one of our four seasons: Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring.

By enrolling in our CSA, you’re supporting us directly–all of the money you spend goes directly to helping us care for our orchard and pay our hardworking crew. Our CSA offers you the opportunity to support a local farm, buy fruit at a discount, and conveniently have it delivered directly to you. No middlemen involved–just us and our delicious, local, and sustainably grown fruit straight off our trees in Selah, WA!

how does our csa work?

We use Farmigo to manage our CSA. Select a pick-up site option (free delivery) or select home delivery ($6/delivery) to have your box delivered directly to you. *Home Delivery is not available in all neighborhoods. We offer many pick-up site locations throughout the Seattle area. Click on β€œmap” on the signup page to view all pickup sites as pins on a map.

We open sign ups usually 1-2 months in advance before deliveries start. This is because we need the funds to get everything set up, which is why your support up front is super important to us!

We offer weekly delivery on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during our summer season. and Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during our fall season. We only deliver on Tuesdays to all neighborhoods during our winter and spring seasons. Deliveries are made between 9am-3pm, but the actual time varies depending on the route and schedule.

If you select a β€œpick-up site” option, you will have a host that will be your point of contact for picking up your box.

CSA members receive a weekly e-mail that includes information about what fruit is going in the box each week, how to store fruit, and farm updates.

What Fruit Will be in the box?

Our Summer CSA consists of cherries, peaches, apricots, plums, apples, pluots, and more! It is by far our most popular CSA share due to the wide variety of fruit we grow.

The Fall CSA consists of late season peaches and nectarines during the first couple weeks, plus a mix of plums and pluots. It is mainly different types of apples and pears for the majority of the deliveries.

Our Winter CSA features various types of apples and pears - we grow over fourteen types of apples, so you can be sure we keep it interesting for our CSA members! We save our most unique and tasty varieties for our winter members.

Our Spring CSA features a mixed variety of only apples. The Spring CSA boxes will most likely contain the same fruit each week. This short 7 week season is a great way to keep supporting our family run orchard until cherry season arrives!

We pride ourselves on growing the most unique types of fruit and we only put the best, most fresh and crisp fruit in our CSA boxes.

Our fruit is sustainably grown (we do not have organic certification) and picked to ensure the fruit will ripen on your table so you can enjoy it the best possible moment.

While we do not allow CSA members to customize their box, we offer a β€œFarmers Choice” subscription that contains the best fruit in season. We also allow members to buy extra fruit through our online farm store at the member discount and have it delivered with their CSA box to their home or pick-up site!
